Annie Sloan Gold Size is a water-based glue and has the advantage of staying sticky when dry, so it’s perfect for applying either bronze powders or metal leaf quickly and easily.

Available in a 100ml pot.

How to use Gold Size: apply a thin layer over a surface intended for gilding. The Gold Size will at first look white, then purple as it dries (this can take up to 15 minutes), and finally transparent. Once the Size is transparent, it is ready for metal leaf to be applied. Lay the leaf carefully onto the sized area, gently smoothing and removing excess leaf with a soft dry cloth.

Wash brushes in water immediately after use.
